It was clean comfortable and quite

The shower head had a very poor flow was barley able to rinse off the soap

The check-in and breakfast was good. Nice staff at front desk.

Very dirty. Looked like there were people staying there as a residence. Creepy people hanging about. 1st room smelled heavily of smoke. There was duct tape around some windows and the room was in need of repairs.

The store off the lobby was great and the rooms were very quiet even that close to the highway.

More elegant than a traditional motel, of which the area has a ton. Well away from road.

Almost no choice of breakfast. Just eggs or pancakes. Pool not very useful: cold even in mid-October. Must not be heated. Deserted.

Everyone was really nice there and answered any questions that I had to the best they could. And plus, it was pretty affordable on such short notice.

I can't really think or anything. Except maybe to get some new bed sheets. One of the ones I had was pretty worn.

    It was easy to find.

Everything. The room was disgusting. Mold in the corner, outlets pulled out from walls, lights not working in bathroom, no fitted sheet on bed - just flat sheets with stains, stains/dirt on carpet, clock read ip:G8 as time, ironing board was ripped to shreds with foam sticking out and hung up by the stretched out stand so you couldn't use the iron board (with no iron by the way). I took photos of everything in case you want me to send them to you. Unfortuntately there weren't other rooms availble at other hotels so I had to stay. I never left my room for fear of my stuff being stolen either.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Everyone!

Appearance. First impression. Remodeling and that should help.

The Palms Inn is going through major renovations and the newly updated 'Spa' rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a jacuzzi bath in the corner of the main room.

It is a dated hotel in transition from being a Days Inn to the Palm Inn and so there are some shabby and old items still in the rooms, and the TV has more channels not working than those working, WITH NO EXPLANATION ON HOW TO GET THEM WORKING! The complimentary breakfast token given states it is valid for Eggs and Toast or free Hot Pancakes, which put me off as I am not a lover of eggs or pancakes, so didn't bother going. I am sure in time things may improve, but it will always be a motel, and was not described as such on the booking website.

I appreciated the staff. They were VERY approachable and very knowledgeable. I also like the staff for it's openness and clarity of what and were you could go to get a good meal and theatre. I like the grounds especially. They were very large with a beautiful pool. I would suggest that the get more tables ans ashtrays Overall I give the staff and the property a "9" for their knowledge and clearity. Mike Slattery

The grounds need improving but they are updating as I write this.

General run down condition, place needs a huge improvement. Worst? The spider in the bed... TERRIBLE!

I'm not sure what was more sketchy, the hotel or many of the guests that it seems to attract. Lots of drug use going on at this hotel. Seriously.

Office staff were very nice. Room was clean.

The bathtub was stained and the non-slip rubber was coming off. It made it not look clean, though it was clean.

The staff was awesome. The location is right where we needed it to be. Every type of store and restaurant is within a few miles of here. The staff was very helpful when we requested a few extra nights and we were even able to keep the same room.

    The staff is helpful.

They need to update the place pronto! The airconditioning in the room is a safety hazard! The price is high for the kind of place. Although it is fairly clean, I will not stay in this hotel again.

Staff was very friendly. Grounds were nice. Surprisingly quiet location, considering how close it is to 101.

This is a Days Inn, people. It's a 2 star place on a good day, that doubles as a bus stop, and is frequented by the Sheriff's finest. A little unnerving. Room was pretty dingy, hairs in bathroom, broken door on fridge, and missing smoke alarm!!! We ended up staying, but won't come here again.
